What is Conscious Leadership?

Conscious or Above the Line Leadership:

  • experience what is here now

  • respond to the moment

  • not trapped in old patterns

  • free to lead and serve others, their organization, the world, and themselves

Unconscious or Below the Line Leadership:

  • cut off from what's happening around them

  • reacting to a "story" about the past or future

  • resorting to default patterns of thought

  • not free to act from a creative impulse

  • tuned out from what the moment requires of them

  • experiencing anger or fear, but don't see it, feel it, experience it, or release it
